Call it a comeback! Arguably one of the most talented musicians I’ve ever had the pleasure of being around, Colin Munroe — the Unsung Hero, is back with this Prince cover.
Colin has been quiet on the scene for some time now dealing with behind the scenes stuff but true talent never goes unheard for too long. Check him out and leave a comment if you would like the download.
And if for some reason you never got his critically acclaimed Unsung Hero project (my claim to fame), treat yourself by clicking the link below.

The young lady with the best stomach in the game hooks up with the gentleman with the best pen game in the industry. I’m speechless!

Drake’s first single is officially out as of this evening. It’s called “Over” and it’s produced by his go to producer Boi-1da. Some say his whole career is riding on this one single but those people have no clue how life works in 2010. If the song was terrible, which it’s not, it will be forgotten by next week. I think this will be remembered. Hip Hop Since 1987 (Drake’s management) doesn’t let it’s artists fall flat…ever.

The Radio Killa is back on the prowl for a third time. Despite two critically acclaimed albums (LoveHate and Love vs Money), The Dream feels his own work as an artist is unappreciated by the industry for which he has penned several hits for other artists. This one, the first of four singles, is called “Love King” and sticks to the same format of an usual Dream/Tricky Stewart record. A banger no less.
I haven’t seen an MTV Diary episode in an eternity so when I saw that N.E.R.D had one coming out I was pumped. Unfortunately, the footage is from 2008 so I’m assuming this is just one of those things that MTV shelved for whatever reason MTV shelves things.
Anyway, it’s a pretty good episode. It follows the boys around the UK as they hit the Manchester U. field (check P geekin’ like a little kid), an in-store signing, a mock interview with college kids, and of course rock a few shows. Enjoy.
The fellas from Stussy have put together a documentary to pay homage to one of the greats, J Dilla. Dig it. Part 1 of 3 is below and of course we’ll be following up with the forthcoming installments.
Below is a screenshot from Curren$y’s latest video snippet “Vision”, which will be featured on his forthcoming mixtape, “Where is Smokee Robinson?”.
Seems as if Spitta is throwing a Rocafella chain around his neck. To add to the speculation, he also spits over Kanye’s “Last Call” instrumental on the song.
Another point to ponder…Center Edge Territory (the supergroup of Jay Electronic, Mos Def, and Curren$y if you’re not up on game) met on Dame Dash’s new premises, DD172, and recorded 6 tracks not too long ago.
A little Sunday treat this is. Can’t help but smile when you see or hear Lauryn. L Boogie made a rare appearance in New Zealand yesterday and performed “Doo Wop (That Thing).”

Say what you want about his past but there’s no denying Ricky’s presence on the microphone over the last 12 months. Dudes been getting busy.
I know most of your inboxes have been inundated with every kind of Exhibit you can think of and I think it’s a testament to just how ridiculous the original was…Just Blaze and Jay outdid themselves. The first time I heard this track the words came to me and I had to record it. To not do it because so many others have done it is to not eat McDonalds because they’ve served over a billion……….
