FMA Magazine is putting on a show on September 16th, 2010 at Webster Hall (NYC). Emma Fross will be gracing the stage along with several other talented acts. The headliner that night is VADO. We would like to see all Emma Fross and Da Fam Inc fans in attendance that night.

This past Saturday marked the final kickball game of the Summer with Joe Budden and Esther Baxter. It’s been a lot of fun playing out there and documenting it for others to see and enjoy. The most noticeable thing about Joe and Esther is that they really are just normal people who just happen to be very good at what they do. The atmosphere all summer was very loose and playful — it’s something everyone involved will remember for a long time to come.

Joe is currently working on the 4th installment of his Mood Muzik 4 series and Eshter’s modeling and acting career is going stronger than ever, in addition to the work she’s doing for charity.

Thanks for watching and hopefully we’ll be right back at it next year.

Looks like young Lloyd might be ready to test Trey Songz for the king of young RnB. This Polow Da Don produced track has all the elements and shows LLoyd paying homage, directly or indirectly, to the old school. It kicks off with a sample from Patti Labelle’s “Love, Need, and Want You” then turns uptempo. The first words sung are from Gerald Levert’s “Casanova”, and of course “Lay your head on my pillow” was made famous by Tony Toni Toné. You can’t go wrong with that kind of formula.

August 9th was Phella’s birthday and it was celebrated in the Nation’s capital as well as NYC. August 11th was also the birthday of Zoe, part of our extended fam. Zoe celebrated by winning a championship in a summer tournament back home in Annapolis, while Phella celebrated by announcing his new business deal with manager Kunle Oki and Spoilt Kid Company. See below for some photos.

The two also celebrated with a Joe Budden concert in NYC and dinner with Kunle Oki and  Da Fam Inc’s Emma Fross.

Da Fam is all about talent. That’s the #1 thing we’re about here. And when it comes to talent, there’s no denying R. Kelly. The video is really about a new artist by the name of Leon Timbo, who seems to be a great talent in his own right, but Kells ends up stealing the show with this ridiculous vocal freestyle.
