I’ve pretty much studied all things Kanye West since I first heard his early stuff as a rapper back in 2003 (I need that first mixtape back by the way, if anyone has it.)

In this interview we get to see quite a few interesting things.

1) At the very end of the video you see Kanye yawning like crazy. Apparently he got into the accident that almost took his life shortly after this interview was taped. Very interesting.

2) In the video he discusses a completely seperate accident. The one he references on “Last Call” with the line “it’s funny how wasn’t nobody interested till the night I almost killed myself in Lexus”. The big accident we all know about was in a BMW not a Lexus.

3) I just always find it cool to see how much dude has progressed as an artist and a person. If you hear him talk in this video he sounds just like your everyday around the way dude. That’s cool, but now he sounds like a man who is respected in Paris, Tokyo and all over the world, that’s cooler. You also get to hear his bad breath control and shaky delivery which he’s improved on drastically over the past 7 years.
